Thank you to Look TV for the opportunity to share information about L.E.A.P.’s programs and services on “Look This Week”! Antoinette Jackson, Owner, VP Business Development, contacted L.E.A.P. in September about the prospect of scheduling an interview, which, due to the COVID 19 pandemic, was filmed via Zoom on October 7th.
Traci was interviewed by Jesse Jackson, President/CEO at Look TV, who asked about Traci’s history with L.E.A.P., the importance of Head Start, Employment and Training programs, the Emergency Food Pantry, Emergency Assistance Funds, Transportation, and the importance of partnerships with local individuals, businesses, and organizations to support individuals in our community. Jesse shared his excitement at hearing that L.E.A.P. had distributed over 15,000 diapers to families during the pandemic as well as 5,000 handmade face masks, and his gratitude that the valuable services we provide have been and continue to operate throughout the pandemic. Traci concluded the interview by thanking the community for coming together to support L.E.A.P. through monetary donations and volunteer time, and offered her heartfelt appreciation to the L.E.A.P. staff of essential workers for helping and serving our families during this challenging time.
