Center Aide, Temporary [Multiple Positions and Locations]

• Adhere to the agency’s policy on confidentiality both within the agency and the community and adhere to all program policies and procedures.
• Provide children and families with comprehensive services by collaborating with all program staff to ensure an integrated approach.
• Assist the teaching team in establishing and providing a safe and healthy learning environment socially, emotionally, and physically.
• Communicate appropriately and professionally with other staff, children, and families.
• Clean classroom and lavatory areas after each group; sanitize toys, and perform other delegated cleaning tasks.
• Clean and sanitize areas of the center according to the center COVID-19 protocol and as requested by the center coordinator.
• Participate in the COVID-19 Arrival/Departure procedure and help facilitate the daily entry health check screening process.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the center-specific protocols and procedures specific to COVID-19 prevention and response.
• Utilize professional reading, writing, and communication skills in order to carry out necessary job requirements.
• Complete all applicable training required for the position.

Educational Experience Required:

• Provide proof of a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

Additional Experience Required:

• Reading, writing and communication skills necessary to perform job responsibilities.
• A valid driver’s license.
• An understanding of young children and low-income families, and an appreciation of parents as the primary educators of their children.
