Special Note: The COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has challenged us all to adjust to changing circumstances on a moment’s notice, and L.E.A.P. takes staff and client safety very seriously. L.E.A.P. Head Start / Early Head Start studied the guidance from multiple states and federal sources including the Center for Disease Control, NYS Department of Health, NYS Office of Children and Family Services, and the Office of Head Start. Based on those recommendations, comprehensive safety protocols were implemented in all five L.E.A.P. Head Start sites in Washington County to protect our staff, children, and families. Precautions are also in place at our administrative offices and Food Pantry. Some of our many COVID-19 precautions include a remote interview process, personal protective equipment required, social distancing guidelines in place, and sanitizing procedures in place.
